About NMT

Dear Friends,
Welcome to our sixth season! During the summer of 2012 NMT will present three very funny, upbeat, and contemporary musical shows along with three of our very popular summer youth theater camps. Please come and support the children as they perform at the end of their camp weeks. You will be thrilled to see these these young students perform! NMT applied for non–profit status during the Fall of 2011 and will hear from the IRS sometime this Spring. We’ll update you as soon as we hear about the application’s status! Our 128–seat theater is located in Northport, Maine on US Route 1, tucked under towering pines and beside a lovely pond. There’s plenty of parking and all facilities are handicapped accessible. Our covered patio provides a comfortable reception area for chatting with friends and enjoying a quick snack & refreshing drink at intermission.

We are music theater professionals with more than 30 years of performing and directing experience here in midcoast Maine. We’ve combined our talents to produce and direct up-to-date, innovative, provocative, and issue-oriented works of musical theater. The hilarious, the heartbreaking, the beautiful, and maybe the just plain weird will be portrayed in musical plays, comedies, revues, satires and farces, all set to music.
